Is Type 2 Diabetes and Alzheimer's Disease Related? SAS, SAS Miner, Tableau
To help determine a relationship between type 2 diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease, multi-linear and logistic regression modeling was used in my data based upon both medical numerical values, 0 and 1 binary values, and character values used in the evaluation. Linear regression was used with variables of age, data value, diabetes, BMI, and blood pressure. Logistic regression was used for yes and no or 0 and 1 values that were used frequently. Linear regression uses the ordinary least squares formula to determine the best fit for the hypothesis. Logistic regression uses the maximum likelihood estimation to find the best fit. (Bobbitt, 2021) A combination of programs were used in this analysis including SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Miner 15.2, and Tableau. SAS Studio was used for all coding and tables. SAS Miner was used for buildable node data for statistical output of graphs, plots, cluster data, and decision trees. Tableau was used for vivid graphical output of bar charts and geographical analysis. GUI Design and Development using JAVA and MySQL
Capestra Furniture GUI was created and developed by Dawn Stratchko, a master’s student at Capella University for Data Analytics. Java and MySQL were used in the development. This PowerPoint presentation will cover the user interface standard operations and functionality of an application interface for Capestra Furniture. The application will allow employees to create customers and place orders into the database system.
